Oldies 2003

I decided to place here some links to my "very old" photogaleries from my former web Cesting which was canceled. They are all from the year 2003. You can find the links right down here or in the link column "Oldies 2003" on the right.

This photogallery contains photos from the travel around one of Canary islands - Fuerteventura. I visited this island with my parents and my step brother. Because I wounded my foot sixth day, we had to borrow a car and that's why we could move all over the island and we saw many interesting things and places. Except me we also enjoyed beautiful sand beaches and the see.




The next point of our interest was the islnad Lanzarote. We spent another week there, also moving by car. There are many species of cactuses to see both in one of the cactus gardens and in the countryside. The shores are sometimes unapproachable because of th rocks but the scenery of waves destroying themselves on the rocks can be also found beautiful. Canary islands are typical for their volcanic origin so you can let yourself be amazed by the various shapes of volcanic rock in the inland.


The other photogalleries are all from The Czech Republic. Photos in this one come from trip to South Bohemia. This area is full of chateaus as you can see inside the gallery - Chateau of Zvíkov, Orlík and Březnice. You will find there also photo of the statue of Jan Žižka or photos documentating the city of Bechyně. Sometimes I found out that man doesn't have to travel far far abroad to see amazing places and breathtaking things.



This gallery si not so large, I can say that it is almost tiny. The photos were taken during five days holiday in the Jeseniky Mountains. You can see the highest mountain of this mountain range - Praděd on the picture with the link. I have to confess to winning a competition thanks to this photograph but it is 5 years ago and it was nearly by an accident, that the old compact Nikon managed to draw the picture so good.




You will find some unclassified pictures inside this gallery that were taken in Bohemia eighter. I can mention the castle Střekov near the city of Ústí nad Labem, some photos from countryside surrounding Liberec and also one picture of the firework on the New Year.






I admit that the photographs are not professional and they are not in the proper resolution but I don't want to just throw them away. They can be inspiring for anyone who is thinking of going to Canary islands.
And I am also considering placing some of the reports or stories from the travels abroad but it will take me some time to translate them and correct them before publishing here.
